Attached

I can't seem to decide whether I should continue my moving out or not.

On January 20, I will have been 4 months in my present abode in San Jose St., Mauway, Mandaluyong City. I still can't imagine what would happen if I follow my plan. That is, which plan? To stay there, until I finally drift off to another place, especially when I leave IBM to study? Or to transfer to a room I could finally call my own (well, sort of)?

Attached. This is what I am feeling right now.

Diamond Hunter

Screenshot of Leonardo diCaprio in Blood Diamond.

I am dying to see this movie. I think it will open in Philippine theatres this month (it should've been aired simultaneously in the US last December 2006, but to give way to the MMFF...) I first saw Leo in the Titanic. What a great classic! Then The Beach. I loved that novel-based exotic paradise-film. Then Catch Me if You Can. Leo is an acting genius. Applause for Mr. Frank Abagnale, Jr.! Then The Departed. Another impressive role. Then this one. A diamond-hunting game in an African setting. Nothing stops Mr. diCaprio. I'm making a mental note to review his previous films. I haven't seen The Aviator yet, by the way.

Leo and Djimon Hounsou.

Mission Possible

My mission today: to find a room.

Not that I'm tired of my old place. In fact, I'm enjoying the company of my current housemates: Joseph, Kuya Jasper, Ate Jarnie, Kuya Wendell, the always-not-around-couple-who-always-seem-to-be-at-war Ian and Carol, the weekly Jemar, Kuya Don-Don, Sherwin my officemate-slash-roommie-slash-closefriend, Ate Cora our caretaker and her hubby Kuya Rocky and her crybaby daughters Althea and Sophia. Being a bedspacer is a cool thing. But calling a room your own is another.

I just feel that, after more than three months, I'm ready to move on and move out. Stating the explicit reasons would be murder. Explaining would be useless. Pointless.
